First, a message from Eranga:

Whew. It’s been a whirlwind of a day to say the least. I’m finally getting a chance to catch my breath and gather my thoughts. Even so, the words I’m conjuring up here seem inadequate to describe the sheer joy I’m feeling from the outpouring of support and love we’ve got from the Day 1 release of Aeternal. 

The best I can do is - thank you! 

This book truly means a lot to us and our goal was always to get it into the most hands possible. What an incredible way to kick that goal off! We’re hard at work on some stretch goals and rewards. We’ve already got some magnets in the works for backers to celebrate passing the $6k milestone and an 11x17 poster of Esad's cover for passing the $8k threshold. 

The immediate sellout of the five Worlds Collide sketch covers means I’m also going to draw a few more and open up some new tiers so stay tuned for that. Again, a sincere thank you for making my year!

I had just driven 9 hours from New Orleans when we launched this morning, so I actually took a nap (or I guess went to bed?) instead of watching the campaign. When I woke up, Eranga informed me we funded in 42 minutes!

Blown away is the phrase that comes to mind.

Thank you all so much for helping bring this project to life and allowing us to get into the fun part so quick!

First up is the stretch goals Eranga mentioned above. We blew through them already on day one in less than 12 hours!

We have a lot of great stuff planned going forward and are really excited to get this book out into the world.
